Spirulina is a microscopic algae found in warm climates, grown by photosynthesis in fresh water, and contains more vital nutrients than almost any other food. Our spirulina is grown in freshwater ponds in the South China Sea in an environmentally pristine area far from industrial activity, under strict conditions of purity.

ORGANIC SPIRULINA POWDER
Our Organic Spirulina Powder is nutritious and versatile. The algae are harvested with Meshscreen and dried in a special spray technique that preserves the nutrients.
Spirulina powder can be added to juices, smoothies, shakes, bakery, and homemade ice-creams for a nutrient boost. It can also be used as a natural green food colouring.
RECIPE: SPIRULINA HUMMUS
Ingredients: ✔ 400g Chickpeas ✔ 1 tsp Organic Sevenhills Spirulina powder ✔ 3 tbsp olive oil ✔ 3 garlic cloves ✔ 1 tbsp salt ✔ ½ lemon juice ✔ 3 tbsp ice cold water
Method:
- Drain chickpeas and weigh out 400g of chickpeas in drained weight. Rinse chickpeas and place in food processor.
- Put all other ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.
- Serve with our other recipes Quinoa falafel or Flatbread.
